raining in january.

it’s raining in athens. SURPRISE.

on my way home from work, i was walking down the street and noticed a jeep coming towards a rather large puddle beside me. i paused, with what i imagine to be a look of mixed horror and caution, and watched it slow down. when i looked up, the man driving had a huge grin on his face. i grinned back as i scurried off.

directly after that i imagined that he would write about it in his blog.

having decided that that seemed improbable, i’m writing about it here, so that it may be documented for all the internet to see. maybe he’ll come visit some day.

in conclusion, WHY IS IT RAINING IN JANUARY?! stop it, please. ohio, why don’t you remember what winter is?
